Lee's been leading the local newspaper markets in online growth lately, cited by some financial analysts as a "buy" for getting online right. Maybe, that has something to do with its recruiting.
If you want to achieve those eye-popping double-digit revenue increase numbers, maybe you need the java of a Silicon Valley techie and the mojo of a non-stop sales whiz.
"The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving online revenue....The Online Director is expected to make sales calls.....Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of basic Internet programming including Java and HTML," the ad reads in part.
